End of Summer activities

There are still plenty of events and activities to enjoy this summer in Santa Barbara.  Here are just a few:

Aug. 16 – Concerts in the Park Presents: Sgt. Pepper, Chase Palm Park at Cabrillo Blvd. and Calle Cesar Chavez, 6-8:30pm.

Aug. 17 – Colbie Caillat and Gavin Degraw Summer Co-Headlining Tour, SB Bowl, 6:30pm.

Aug. 18 – Woodies at the Beach (Car Show), SBCC West Campus, 9am-3pm.

Aug. 24-27 – Santa Barbara Dog Show, Earl Warren Showgrounds, Friday 7am-8pm, Saturday 7am-11pm, Sunday 7am-8pm, Monday 7am-6pm.

Aug. 25-26 – Santa Barbara Triathlon, East Beach.

Aug. 25-26 – Santa Barbara Studio Artists’ Open Studios Tour, 11am-5pm.

Aug. 26 – Diana Krall with Denzal Sinclaire, SB Bowl, 7pm.

Aug. 28 – Wags N’ Whiskers Festival, Girsh Park, 11am-4pm.

Aug. 31 – Free Movie on Stearns Wharf: Shark Tale, dress warm, bring beach chairs and blankets, free parking on the wharf after 7 pm, movie starts at dusk.
