Santa Barbara and its incredible Mediterranean climate are known for enjoyable year-round events and festivities. With the holiday season upon us there are many sights to take in and things to do, in addition to looking at real estate. Here are a few to add to your calendar…

Unlike most of the country and much of the state, Santa Barbara’s real estate market really doesn’t slow down much during the holiday and winter seasons. Many serious buyers and sellers find it a great time to focus. As shown by ten years of South Santa Barbara County sales statistics the number of closings for the months of December and January is only 10% lower on average than the number of closings for September and October.
